Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Summer Technical Hire (Engineering Aide I) to work up to 40 hours per week supporting a Federal Government client at our Southern Maryland location.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 3 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities



  • Perform various engineering and technical support tasks
  • Review, update and maintain electronic documents
  • Potential work areas include: procurement department, engineering department, project management department, on-site government support, and reception

Required Qualifications



  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills


Desired Qualifications



  • Experience with Java and Python.
  • Familiarity with DoD and/or government contracting.


Education

High School Diploma/GED and currently enrolled in a 4-year college program pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematicsfrom an accredited college or university

Clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations.
