Job Title: Summer Day Camp Program Aide FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt, Temporary Schedule: FT Closing Date: 5/16/2024 Rate of Pay: $14.42/hour Benefits: Temporary; Part-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:
Scope of Position/Essential Functions: The Red Shield Program Aide will work daily with the youth in the center to build relationships and foster a friendly and safe environment for youth to grow and thrive. To accomplish this, the After School Program Aide will work with Program Leaders and Directors as a team in delivering programs that best meets the ever-changing needs of our youth. Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Education and Work Experience: Program Aides must be at least eighteen years of age and demonstrate an ability to work with children. It is preferred that Program Aides must have at least three months full-time or equivalent part-time verifiable experience with school-age children. Within 30 days of hire, you must submit fingerprints, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, and Universal Precautions from a nationally recognized provider. Software-related skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, and email required. Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training.
