A Delivery Driver is responsible for prompt, courteous, and accurate delivery of parts to customer locations using a Codale Electric Supply, Inc., vehicle.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver products to customers' locations throughout the Wasatch Front

  • Drive safely and responsibly.

  • Make deliveries in a timely manner.

  • Ensure deliveries are complete and include all correct items on the shipping manifest.

  • Delivery drivers are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of every order listed on their manifest.

  • Keep the warehouse organized and clean.

  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.

  • Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area.

  • Drivers must conduct a daily inspection of their vehicle.

  • Ensure proper maintenance-gas tank full, oil change, wiper fluid full, wiper blades not worn down, tire rotation, timely vehicle checks and inspections.

  • Drivers must be safe and courteous while driving.

  • Drivers must obey all traffic laws.

What You'll Bring:

  • Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

  • Close attention to detail.

  • Follow all delivery guidelines and reporting procedures to ensure correct inventory reporting.

  • Drivers must have good communication skills and communicate effectively with customers, salespersons, and other members of warehouse staff.

  • Complete other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

  • Clean driving record, demonstrated with annual Motor Vehicle Report

  • Must pass DOT and Random Drug and Alcohol Tests

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Disclaimer:

  • Drivers may be asked to conduct out-of-state deliveries, which may include overtime.

  • Shifts may start in early morning or may start in the afternoon and end after midnight.
